The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, whose 70th year we are commemorating, begins with a clear statement in Article 1 of both principle and fact. All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.

This is underscored by the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination: " Any doctrine of superiority based on racial differentiation is scientifically false, morally condemnable, socially unjust and dangerous...there is no justification for racial discrimination, in theory or in practice, anywhere."

THE ICC - INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT WITHDRAWAL DECISION OF THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT. THE WITHDRAWAL DECISION OF PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT OR PHILIPPINE PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE IN ICC IS DUE TO UNFAIRNESS OF THE UN-ICC INVESTIGATOR IN HANDLING THE CASE OF HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS AND EJK'S IN THE COUNTRY. THE PHILIPPINE PRESIDENT AND SOME COLLEGUE'S OF HIM CHARGE IN ICC ON THE ISSUE OF EJK AND GRAVE HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN THE PHILIPPINES.

THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT OR SIDE OF THE PHILIPPINE PRESIDENT DOES NOT TRUSTED THE INVESTIGATIONS OF UN-ICC AND THE RESULTS WOULD MIGHT UNFAIR OR IN-EQUAL IN JUSTICE. THE UN CHR CHAIR ALSO SUMMON PHILIPPINE PRESIDENT TO COME UP IN PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATIONS IN THEIR EXCHANGES OF DEFENSE IN EACH OTHER. Duterte: PH to withdraw from ICC 'effective immediately'

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 14) — President Rodrigo Duterte said the country will withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC) 'effective immediately.'

In an unsigned statement, the President said attacks against him and his administration which were "engineered by the officials of the United Nations," as well as the attempt by the ICC special prosecutor to put him under jurisdiction prompted him to pull the country out from the international tribunal.

Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo confirmed the statement came from the President on Thursday.

UN rights chief denounces ‘unacceptable’ charges of terrorism by Philippine’s Duterte against UN expert

Flinging terrorism charges at a United Nations human rights expert is just one act in a litany of profane and inflammatory comments made by Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte against the rapporteur, prompting the UN rights chief to questions the leader’s mental stability.

“He needs to submit himself to some sort of psychiatric examination,” Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussen, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, told reporters on Friday during a press conference in Geneva, which covered a range of other issues, including the situations in Venezuela and Myanmar.
